The final MMMTA meeting of 2022 was held at Emerson Park, the first face-to-facee meeting of the year.

Jim Hohmeyer shared about the SAT Testing results. Out of the 17 piano students who achieved the SAT Semi-Finals, two students were picked to go Lansing, Michigan for the SAT Finals. Neither student won the finals. There is some confusion about the SAT trophies and Certificates. The SAT Committee meetings are on-going, although there is resistance to change by some of the committee members. Thanks to Jim Hohmeyer, Susan Mercy, Mary Ann Anschutz and her husband, Jim for all the extra work they did to make the SAT Testing successful this year.

Susan Rye steps up to become the new President of MMMTA as the officers were voted on and decided. The new officers are:

Treasurer – Linda Harp
Historian – Mary Ann Anschutz
